Introduction. The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga Research Institute (UTCRI) is intended to bolster UTC’s focus on building cross-disciplinary teams and catalyzing partnerships to establish enduring programs of excellence to address challenges that can’t be solved using a single-discipline approach. UTCRI’s work addresses specific and critical challenges in urban infrastructure, mobility, sustainability, and healthcare.

One of UTCRI’s flagship external affairs initiatives is the Chattanooga Connect conference – a dynamic annual gathering of leaders from academia, industry, and government who are dedicated to shaping fields like the future of urban mobility, smart city technologies, integrated quantum computing, and more. The conference highlights cutting-edge advancements in AI, connected vehicles, and infrastructure, with a special focus on collaboration and practical impact.

To effectively communicate our mission and expand our impact, UTCRI seeks a qualified vendor to develop:

  • A dynamic and modern brand identity for Chattanooga Connect that reflects its mission and innovation-driven work.

  • A user-friendly, engaging website that serves as a central clearinghouse for information and updates about the conference, as well as other content (i.e. blog posts, semi-annual meetups) that relate to its areas of focus.

Preference will be given to locally-owned vendors headquartered in Hamilton County as of the time of their response. Proposals from sole respondents with qualified subcontractors will be accepted provided there is a single, consistent point of contact for the client.
